Besides, the G-sensor monitors activity from every direction around the car, including up, down, left and right, front and backward.
      When the Collision Detection is turned on, and no movement is detected after 5 minutes of recording (5-minute entry mechanism for short), then Collision Detection is activated with a Collision Detection icon at the bottom right corner of the screen, and the camera automatically turns off. When the dash cam is turned off, it will start to record for 1 minute after being shaken, then turn off the dash cam again.

      Models with impact detection, however, will be able to not only record footage when an impact is detected but will also store these files away in a separate folder. So they can be easily reviewed in the video folder and well protected from being overwritten by successive files. Later on, you can retrieve the crucial footage of the incident to claim the insurance or pass the file to the police.

       

       

      Motion Detection

        Motion detection is of great significance when you park or leave your vehicle for a long amount of time. That's because it can automatically detect any movement, as well as a change in light that is in view of the lens of the camera.

         

         

         

        When the front camera detects the movement of an object, it will wake up and automatically start recording for 30 seconds and save the recording in the usual video folder.         Low Bitrate Recording

          What is Bitrate? Bitrate is the number of bits per second. The symbol is bit/s. It generally determines the size and quality of video and audio files: the higher the bitrate, the better the quality, and the larger the file size.

           

          The low bitrate recording aims to help you save hours of footage as small files (1080P@15FPS or 720P@15FPS) to save SD card space.

           

          If no movement is detected after 5 minutes of recording, the resolution of all current video will be automatically switched to 1080P 15FPS or 720P 15FPS for recording, and the recording duration will be determined according to the currently set loop recording duration while greatly improving memory card storage efficiency. When the camera vibrates or is moved, it will automatically exit, wait 5 minutes, and enter again. 

           

          Low Framerate Mode

            Frame rate is the number of pictures/frames that appear in the video every single second. In the most straightforward explanation, the frame rate is nothing but the playback speed of the video.

             

            The low Framerate mode is integrated with the parking mode to record time-lapsed videos while your car is parked. Time-lapse refers to a mode of video recording enabling a camera to record at 1FPS (one frame per second). Upon playback, at a standard 30FPS, everything appears to be rolling faster than the average speed, which is called time-lapse video.

             

            That is, each one-minute video recorded covers a 30-minute period. This Low Framerate practically helps you save your time while watching extensive footage – such as two hours long parking footage.
